The Royal Singapore
Golf Club was originally founded in the year 1891 under the
name of "The Singapore Golf Club" with the object of providing
facilities for golf and pursuant thereto by 1962, the Club
then maintained two 18-hole golf courses as well as a Clubhouse
at Simei Road, Singapore.
The Royal Island Club was originally founded in the year 1927
under the name of "The Island Club" with the object of providing
a country Clubhouse and amenities for golf, swimming, tennis
and other forms of recreation and pursuant thereto it provided
its multi-racial members with an 18-hole golf course and a
popular social centre for members and visitors of all races
at the Club in a unique atmosphere of inter-racial goodwill
and harmony.
The Singapore Island came into existence with the merger of
the Royal Island Club and the Royal Singapore Golf Club. The
new Club's colours are gold and maroon and the crest incorporates
the arms within a belt bearing the title of the Club, dexter,
on a field of gules, a sea eagle swooping over an island with
palm tree proper, sinister on field azure, a lion stat ant
before a palm tree growing on land proper. |

Bukit Course |
The Bukit Course borders the sprawling MacRitchie Reservoir, and boasts more than 3,000 fully-grown trees of at least 10 varieties. SICC's 18-hole championship course has hosted many international events. |
Island Course
|
Weaving through old trees, the Island Course is both hilly and picturesque. It is the shortest 18-hole golf course, where both nines start and finish with very similar holes. |
The New Course |
Comprising three new nines - Millennium, Peirce, and Forest - and with three 18-hole combinations to choose from, the new 27-hole golf course is set to put your golfing skills to the test. |
