In 1989 Sentosa Golf Club played host to the Dunhill Cup
World Qualifier. It is located on the Island of Sentosa,
a tourist and leisure spot, and is accessible from Singapore
by bus, ferry or cable car. Members of the golf club can
now drive there directly.
There are two 18-hole golf courses namely the Serapong
course & the Tanjong Course. The professionals that
played here ranked the Serapong as one of the most difficult
courses in Asia |
Playing here
is like getting away from the hustle and bustle of a busy
and vibrant city. No traffic noise and yet the dramatic
looming Singapore skyline though breath taking keeps you
in check that reality is just minutes away. |
|
|
The Serapong
course is more challenging than the Tanjong. However both
courses are opened to the sea breezes, providing additional
challenge to the golfers.
Walk in visitors during the weekends and public holidays
will find the green fees very steep. This is to discourage
visitors during weekends and to cater to their members.
It is best to call up to check before getting there. |
